Symptoms
When opening a Content Studio document with a computer running Windows Vista the Webitor does not show anything or only a missing object image.
Cause
Content Studio version 4.6 and earlier uses an Active X control to add richer functionality to the Webitor. Starting with the Windows Vista operating system, Microsoft has stopped supporting this Active X control that was built in in earlier version of Windows.
Resolution
Content Studio version 4.7 (not the public beta of 4.7) and later has a rebuilt Webitor that does not use this Active X control. Until then Windows Vista, Longhorn and the 64-bit edition of Internet Explorer cannot be used with Content Studio.
Status
This problem is by design and entirely controlled by Microsoft.
